You may start on any Monday. But please apply early to enable us to secure your place.
We have adopted an Interactive Learning System for all our courses. A classroom is, in effect, a miniaturized society. You listen to what other people say, express your own opinion, compare and examine ideas, agree, disagree or compromise. You will gain indispensable skills to live in an English-speaking country without even realizing it!
We have small classes - a maximum of 12 students.
Our course qualifies for student visas.
We accept students, including those who want to enter a local school, from the age of 14.
Pathways
The educational system of New Zealand is known for developing in students the power to think for themselves. The possibilities increase infinitely by learning English, such as admission to a local school, degree acquisition at university or entrance into a school of higher learning in another English speaking country. It also enhances employment opportunities and acquisition of permanent residency.

Code of Practice
Albany Academy is a signatory to the NZ Ministry of Education's Code of Practice for the Pastoral Care of International Students. We are in charge of a student's care for 24 hours in case of an emergency.
