Introduction to Excellent International Academy

…where city, suburbs and nature meet. Located only 15 minutes' drive from the city centre Albany is the gateway to the vast nature of Northland. Here you will see the delicate balance between untouched nature and man's use of the natural environment.

Our Policy


No frills - just top quality English. Interactive learning system - teachers and students communicating with each other. (Except for emergencies, we don't provide PC's for students - the school is geared to learning, not an internet café. Most of our homestays have internet). Shorten commuting time and avoid traffic congestion (by use of nearby accommodation and a suitable class timetable). We know that improving students' English ability is not enough. In addition, students need to gain confidence to use English in real life situations. So we don't deprive students of opportunities they face by doing everything for them, but we help where it's needed.
